“ Had an incredible meal at this spot! I ordered the Fajita Don Juanito, which came sizzling hot and loaded with perfectly grilled beef fajitas, then topped with a rich cilantro mushroom poblano cream sauce — absolutely packed with flavor and seriously next-level. My Dad had the Seafood Enchiladas, and they were just as impressive. Smothered in a creamy, savory sauce and filled with tender seafood, it was a hit from the first bite. Everything came out hot, fresh, and generously portioned. The rice, beans, and fresh pico on the side tied everything together beautifully. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend if you're craving flavorful Tex-Mex with a little extra flair! ”
“ Los Comales is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Rockport hands down. We have been coming down to visit for 5 years now and cannot leave without dining here at least once. The green sauce is EVERYTHING. We literally brought home a 32oz container of it our first year down here. The prickly pear margarita is also a must-try. ”
“ Let me preface this review with a couple facts before I get down to the details. I live in Houston and frequent some of the city’s finest Tex Mex. I have been both a server and bartender as well as managed some of the best Tex Mex spots in Dallas. I ordered take out from this place and when I arrived to pick up the food things weren’t quite ready yet. Or maybe they were. Either way, I indulged in a quick frozen margarita at the bar which tasted as good as any other in Houston and tasted like it was topped with a Grand Marnier melt down. How did they know? Possibly some learned habits in my ordering. When I went to pick up my Togo order, the bill was printed on screen and I noticed some inaccuracies from the prices that were on the menu i ordered from online. Namely, a single order of fajitas was like 18.00 online and on the computer they were 22.95. When I spoke with the manager she was like, yeah, we know that’s out there and we have had a hard time replacing it with a current version. I wasn’t up for an argument and remember thinking, the food better be good or they’re getting a bad review tonight and if the place is not good I have no problem leaving an honest review. So I get the food home, open in up and strangely, everything that was ordered was actually in the bag. A step in the right direction. Then I opened the containers and was taken aback by the beef fajitas which were basically busting out of the Togo container. Probably twice the weight of an order you would get from El Tiempo or Papasitos but that matters little if they aren’t delicious. But when I tired a piece of beef, my smile went broad, from ear to ear. The tortillas were very good. The accompanying side plate of beans, lettuce and pico (no guacamole or cheese) left a little to be desired but the meat made up for it all. Truth be told the fajitas were fat and delicious (see pic). If I was going to have any regrets, it would be the utter lack of regard I had to sample some desserts. At the end of the day, I would go back and eat here again. Breakfast lunch and dessert if they would have me. Enough said, right? ”
“ Great food! Atmosphere is good but very crowded. The service was great and our waitress worked her tables non-stop. Parking spaces are small and I almost couldn't get into my car. I recommend parking in the gravel. ”

“ We love this place and always visit when in town. Their fajitas plates are amazing! We had the fajitas with poblano cream sauce and it was soooo good. Everyone at the table, there were 8 of us, enjoyed their dinners of fajitas and tacos. We also had the large Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer. It was a large margarita glass full of small shrimp mixed into cocktail sauce with pico de gallo and avocado. Very yummy preparation and enough to go around. Not spicy at all, so we added a little drizzle of their res salsa, which was spicy! A definite don't miss spot when you're in town. They do have a large cocktail menu and a full bar service next door. ”
“ I went here for the first time last night and they were super busy on the bar side for a Thursday night! Me and my friend got some drinks from the male bartender. He was very sweet but he was running everything! We proceeded to order some food and i decided to get the spinach and mushroom enchiladas. Those were some of the best enchiladas I’ve ever had! I would recommend them to any and everyone! Hopefully I’ll be returning soon since it is a 30 min drive ”
